Classic Crawls - Summer 2003
Possibly the first crawling traverse of the Cuillin Ridge on Skye! Ian assisted disabled mountaineer Brian Baker from Cumbria in a supreme achievement. Defeated by June weather on his first attempt, Brian returned for a successful re-match in September. Follow this link to view all Ian's photos for this trip
Skye Sizzler - May/June 2004
Skye Scrambles and a Cuillin ridge traverse.
Classic Crawls - June 2004
the return of the Wall Crawler!
Torridon - June 2004
Kiwis up top. Private guiding for a returning native reliving his childhood family holidays and introducing his partner to the delights of Scotland!
Peru - May 2005
Classic walking and trekking including the Inca Trail to Macchu Pichu along with walking and sightseeing around Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, and the Cusco areas. Thank you so much for all you did to support us in Peru - it was great to have you along spreading good cheer! Everyone involved did an excellent job looking after us all and making everything go so smoothly. Really enjoyed the Inca Trail after much fear and trepidation! (Sally, London). Camino de Santiago, long distance walking, Spain - June 2005
Heat wave! Even by Spanish standards! Eight days walking the final sections of this classic pilgrim's route. I appreciated Ian's relaxed style which was marvellous in such hot weather. He was the best - efficient, helpful and friendly. He spoke Spanish and had a good understanding of the way of life which added to the enjoyment (Anonymous,UK)
Glencoe Walking - July 2005
Heat wave! Again! Challenging walking in the Glencoe area(It does happen, even in Scotland!) Ian is clearly a very experienced and competent leader (Anonymous, USA)
