Winter walking - Glencoe - January 2010

4 days of fun over New Year based in Spean Bridge. Our small group visited the north Glen Coe, Glen Nevis, and Creag Meagaidh areas and made an ascent of Buachaille Etive Beag. Conditions were intensely snowy and very cold, but mainly calm and bright. New Year was seen in at the dance in Invergarry Village Hall.

Private Guiding - Ben Nevis - February 2010

A 40th Birthday winter ascent of the Ben in hard icy conditions with next to zero visibility! The forecast high wind never materialised though so this was in fact a most enjoyable day!

Management Training - Arrochar - February 2010

A large group of staff from a national outdoor retail chain enjoying the hills around Loch Lomond, and getting familiar some of the equipment they sell.

Skye Cuillin - February 2010

Some lucky folk caught the nearly perfect and long-lasting conditions on Skye over the past couple of weeks, but all that snow has made for some careful assesment of the conditions at times!

Skye Scrambling - May 2010

Some nice clear weather, but cold, with snow showers and a little icy in places. In May! Plans to do the Inn Pin were shelved in favour of an exploration of the southern end of the ridge and an ascent of the spur of Sgurr an Feadhoin.

Skye Discovery - May 2010

Don, Debbie and Lise enjoyed some great weather whilst exploring the Isle of Skye. Follow this link to view all Don's photos for this trip

Not forgetting Hamish of course! This trip was run in conjunction with Mac's Adventure. Follow this link to view all the photos for this trip.

A great trip with a tip top group, as usual! Follow this link to view all Jonathon's photos for this trip

Watching for whales (SMPG)

West Highland Way - August 2010

Some challenging weather this week on Scotland's classic long distance trail . Not that it dampened the spirits of this group! My 5th time doing the "Way" this year! Follow this link to view all Heather's photos for this trip

Skye Discovery - September 2010

A great trip with a tip top group, as usual!

I would highly recommend this tour group. A friend and I joined in on the Isle of Skye Discovery tour and we were very pleased. The hiking tour blew us away at every corner with each amazing cliff and crag! The guide, Ian, was outstanding, very professional and very accomodating to every need and whim of the group. ...I could go on forever singing the praises of the tour. But if you love the outdoors and enjoy being in a spectacular landscape, then get booking your trip (Ginny, Toronto)

An Cleit, Quirang The Bad Step on the Shore Path from Coruisk Seals in Loch Scavaig

The "Big Highland Tour"- September 2010

Some less than perfect weather on this 2 week jaunt around the highlands taking in Loch Lomond, Bomond, Ben A'an, being rained off the Cobbler, The Lost valley of Glencoe, Ben Nevis, Boreraig coast and Coire Lagan and the Quiraing on Skye, Coire Mhic Fearchair and Ben an Eoin in Torridon, the Culloden battlefield, Clava cairns, the high Cairngorms, Rothiemurchus, and much more. Good job we had 2 weeks!
